I had no idea it been almost two months since my last post! Zoiks, batman. The holidays seemed to drag on for awhile. Weekend. Coupladays. Felt like a weekend. One day. Real weekend. Coupladays. Felt like a weekend. One day. Two weddings. One out of town. Back to reality. We did have an awesome Christmas, our annual BIG car expense, and a wonderful time at the weddings.
Biggest news is Oldest Son is almost moved out. He had been on a waiting list for housing at a local apartment complex. He got the place in December but we had to wait until January for a move in date because his Social Security changed Jan 1 and his apartment is income based. Place is almost like a college dorm, but better. The common areas are awesome. Groups gather all day long for coffee, cards, other games, just to visit. The laundry room is way beyond my expectations. People seem to look out for each other, too. (This could be interpreted as busy body or nosy but for this mom it's what he needs to start out!)
God is good, all the time. Sometimes we just aren't paying attention.
