Note to self: No matter how deep you stuff something in a wasteback a determined puppy can reach it. Remi got one of those silica gel things that come in new shoes, purses, etc. You know the one that sucks out moisture while things are shipping in containers from China. Well he "ingested" some. Miniscule amount in my estimation. I call the human poison control to find out if there is a dog poison control. Sure enough there is! I call that number and after a short commercial for the ASPCA I am told to have my credit or debit card handy for a $60 charge to help cover costs! For all the money we have given them over the years I should have at least one "get out of jail free" call for a misguided dog. I hang up. I have no card to use. (refer to the previous 2 posts)
Next I call a friend who is going to school to be a vet tech. Bless her heart. She does some quick checking and figures out it probably won't hurt him. Guess where she got the info? ASPCA website. Argh. Hugs to my friend!
