Death

Is it ok to let someone die? I'm struggling with this alot this week. I know someone who is not getting food or drink because she can no longer swallow. She's "old." "She's lived a good life." I hate that statement! She's a believer so I know she is eagerly awaiting the open arms of Christ. But it just seems so cruel to be slowly starved and dehydrated to death. I know first hand the excruciating headaches that go with dehydration. She had a stroke and is being kept comfortable. She knows what's going on and communicates as best she can with what she can -- eyes, hand squeezes, half smiles. She still can cry. So can I. Death come quickly for my "sister."
