VBS

We finished another amazing year of VBS on Thursday! The curriculum this year was done by the musical group Go Fish. Every participant got a REAL back stage pass for a Go Fish concert! How cool is that? A big surprise for the children was also a special visit from one of the Go Fish guys, Jamie. His family attends FCC and I really thought the rafters were going to tumble when he took the stage! I even got his autograph on my VBS CD!

My job is on the front end of things doing pre-registration, people who register during VBS, small group assignments, etc. I am also the unofficial greeter at the door and had a blast yelling at all the Superstars to come on in, pump up the noise, "are you ready to rock?" I also rolled out the red carpet on Thursday. A few attenders and volunteers were somewhat taken aback by the commotion I could raise but they went with the flow by Thursday. I even put the glitter on the shirt and in the hair! Too bad I didn't get any pics. Hugs to all my Peeps!
