Liar, liar

Ok friends or any others who care to comment. I have a "friend" who has a son who hates a certain subject in school. He will do just about anything to get out of the homework. Friday he didn't do the assignment. He was given until Monday to do it. Monday it's there. Monday's assignment does not get done. His mom asks him where is it. He shows her Friday's assignment again. He claims he looked in the book and "must have gotten mixed up" on which assignment was which. Problem is Mom now finds out Friday's wasn't finished correctly.

My question is: discipline for not doing Friday's correctly, Monday's at all or for LYING?

Find a bible verse related to telling the truth, and have said "friend" write it out neatly on paper, with scripture reference, 50 times, no less.

House Rules.

Not doing Mondays, and lying. (My 2 cents). I think I understand your friends pain. Lots of cutting corners is happening here lately. I just don't have the strength to fight.
