Wake me in the Spring

I worked my usual overnight shift last night, Friday. When I went to work there was a couple inches of snow out there -- old snow. By the time my shift was over there was about 4-6 of new snow. Husband and I came home, shoveled a bit, he went to a men's breakfast and I went to bed. This is what I woke up to:

Yeah that's right. All white. I came out of my nice dark, warm, "cave," saw my shadow and went back to bed. Ok, ok I'm mixing metaphors. The bears are definitely on to something when it comes to sleeping all winter.

For those of you not from around these parts: our church is cancelled tonight, (don't remember that EVER happening), the plows have been pulled from the Interstate, (seldom happens), and all four runways at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport were closed as of 5:00 p.m.

I'm not much of a snow lover but even I have to admit that this is AWESOME! And thank you Jesus for washing us even whiter! Amen
