Thought I'd better follow up. The Dells Christmas turned out pretty good! The hotel we stayed at came with free water park passes as part of the room rate. We stayed at the Best Western Ambassador, the passes were for Chula Vista -- about 3 miles away. Grandpa paid for our room but I did some checking on line. IF we had booked our room through AAA we would have had 2 queen beds, 1 roll away and water park passes for under $60 a night. Sweet deal for us penny counters. We spent about 1/2day at the wp as well as time with family.
I finished the blankies and the jammies, worked 7 out of 8 nights between Dec. 19 and 26, and will get the cards done before the Wise Men show up!
