We lost our "boys" during *****. Natural aging reasons. So off and on I would surf rescue sites, PetFinders.com, the Humane Society. One day I come across a Schnauzer rescue and got to reminiscing about Tucker. Made a few phone calls and we were not the best fit for the pup. Subsequently we got screened to be a foster dog "parents." I wasn't really sold on the idea but the end of January I get a phone call that the rescue was expecting 7 poodles and 8 dogs (1 shih tzu) arrived. Could I please help? Um, sure, but I don't know the first thing about fostering a dog. Long story short, I learned fast and in some areas the hard way.
